It's been almost 18 months -- must be time for Spalding to take a new job. Rachel and I are moving to Houston, Texas. I've accepted a job doing international compliance work at an energy services company. As I'll be doing a ton of international travel, I've decided to fire up my old blog, An American In Moscow. Might need to rename it, but I'm headed back to Russia on August 3rd, so I'll leave it the same for now. More blog posts of the move to Houston, travels overseas, and general whatnot to follow.

Led by two smug cats, a delighted Tessa and determined Jasper, with Josephine ever hopeful and heeling beautifully as we crowd the stair well, we all head downstairs. Mieusette awaits us on top of the kitchen stove.
